Desiree Crooks
Registered Psychotherapist
BA, MACP
Hi, my name is Desiree Crooks, a Registered Psychotherapist at White Oaks Therapy. I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Bachelor’s (Hons) degree in Psychology from Laurentian University, and Post Graduate Certificate in Infant & Young Child Mental Health from Seneca College.
I work with individuals experiencing trauma (PTSD), anxiety, self-esteem concerns, and relationship challenges. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or seeking greater self-understanding, therapy can be a great space to process and grow.
I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to support you in making sense of your experiences and moving toward meaningful change. Together, we can work to better understand patterns, build insight, and develop tools to support emotion regulation.
