Therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to keep going, and respected enough to move at a pace that feels manageable. Our practice was created with that kind of care in mind. We support people who are navigating stress, trauma, relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, family concerns, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions.

At White Oaks Therapy Centre, we provide in-person therapy in Collingwood, Ontario and secure online therapy across Ontario. Our team includes registered psychotherapists and mental health professionals who bring warmth, skill, and thoughtful clinical experience to each session. Many of our practitioners are trained in trauma therapy modalities such as EMDR and deep brain reorienting, and our intern program was developed with a clear curriculum designed to support strong, intentional care.
Our approach is collaborative and practical. We don’t believe therapy should feel vague or disconnected from your everyday life. Instead, we work with you to understand what you’re carrying, what you’re hoping for, and what support could help you move forward. For many clients, this includes creating a therapy plan early in the process and using tools that help make growth feel more grounded.
One part of our process is the stone exercise at the end of the first session. You’re invited to write one word or phrase that encourages you day to day on one side, and one word or phrase that reflects what you’re hoping for through therapy on the other. It’s a small, tangible reminder of the journey you’re beginning and the support available along the way.
